Karthik Subramanyam has been involved in the tech industry for over 20 years in Australia, New Zealand and India. His vision to be innovative, disruptive and to control his own destiny saw him create Innovat.edge in Australia and Gestire Solutions with a Team of Professionals in India. Karthik is passionate about solving technology issues for business owners and C-Suite customers. He has worked for start-ups as well as multinationals such as IBM and Sony Corporation. Together with a team of dedicated professionals, he focusses on finding the best technological products and services available globally, and partner with highly reputable service providers offering innovative products designed specifically for the business environment. He also actively participates in community fundraising events and organisations such as Toastmasters International.
Sivakumar Nagarajan
Director – Accounting and Finance
Sivakumar is one of the Co-founder and Director of Gestire Solutions Private Limited, located in Chennai, India. He is Chartered Accountant by Profession. Sivakumar is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Associate member of CPA-Australia. He has extensive experience in advising businesses on Book-Keeping, Accounting, Auditing, Budgeting, Cost Control, Data management, Payroll across various industries including Cloud IT, Telecommunication, Hospitality, Banks, Auto-dealership and Educational Institutions.
Ilayaraja K T
Director – Financial Planning and Analysis
In addition to being a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he is also an Associate member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. His areas of expertise includes Corporate Affairs, Foreign Exchange Management, Internal control and Risk Assessment. He has 8 years experience in Mining and
Chemical industries in India.
Ram Chakravarthy
Consulting Director
Ram is a Chartered Accountant and one of the founding members of Gesitre. He has over 8 years of industry and consulting experience across the Hospitality, Logistics, Auto-dealership and Plastic products industries in India, Nigeria and Turkey. Ram’s work includes supporting organisations in implementing internal accounting processes and controls, process improvement, and performing audits. His current focus areas are Corporate Law Compliance and IndAS transition. He strongly believes that the accounting and audit function should be an enabler of value within the organization. Ram is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Ram is also Partner at IPRS AND COMPANY, based in Chennai, and the leader of the firm’s Accounting and Assurance Practice. Prior to IPRS, Ram was Corporate Finance Controller at a Luxury Hotel Company in Chennai.
Saranya Prahalathan
Director – Taxation
Saranya is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with more than 10 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing and Banking Industry. She has hands on experience in handling US Audit and Taxation, from her employment with US Based Audit Firm Cohn Reznick in India. In Banking Industry, she has been with ICICI Bank working with the Internal Audit Department (IAD) and has contributed towards framing of Internal Control Policies and Procedures for the IAD. In her Initial days of career, she has handled Audits of Public Limited Companies of Health Industry, Manufacturing Industry, Public Sector Undertakings, and many Small & Medium Enterprises. She is currently Practicing as a Partner with IPRS AND COMPANY CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS in India and is specializing in GST and is also into consultancy.
Palani P
Director – Operations and Customer Relationship
Palani has over seven years of industry and consulting experience across hospitality, audit and assurance of clients based at India. Further he has served few more years in professional consultancy company providing audit services for clients based at United States of America. His expertise includes supporting organisations in implementing tax system, representing the clients before government authorities and performing audits. As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he set up his public practice in the year 2014 after serving in the industry for three years. He is the founding partner of an audit firm based at Chennai. He heads the firm’s Direct Tax department. He is an alumnus of the Madras University. His current focus areas are taxation and consultancy. He believes that the impact of taxation on business performance is significant and strives to facilitate clients with the appropriate structure to ensure compliance.
